Overview: A Temple is the administrative and the spiritual head of a district encompassing a number of stakes within a given area. It is seen as a house of the divine in which place some of the most important sacraments take place. It also serves as the place where the administrative offices for the temple districts are placed. Some of the Temples serve as the head temples of certain provinces and they house additional regional offices. New temple district announcements take place only a few times a year and future sites serve as a catalyst for growth. Temples are open to the public. Ceremonies take place throughout the day while administrative functions are performed in the outside areas.
